The Rapid Deployment Armor Bag (RDAB) is the first of its kind and is ideally suited to handle the growing crisis of the "active shooter".
This patent pending convertible armor bag is specially designed for officers' first-on-the-scene, VIP protection details, large event security and other environments that warrant protection against rifle rounds. Point Blank offers several types of Hard Armor Plates capable of defeating high-powered Level III & IV rifle rounds either in combination with Point Blank's Level IIIA certified soft body armor systems or as a stand-alone. These plates are available in a choice of two shapes (full-size or shooter's cut) with the option of a single or triple curve design to meet your individual needs for comfort and function. Additional options include the choice of ultra-light polyethylene or ceramic plates which will affect weight and thinness. Refer to the table for specific sizes, weights and additional information. Point Blank hard armor plates fit all Point Blank tactical systems.
