The Currahee is a full tang fixed blade originally designed for U.S. Special Forces Boat team 20. The original run of the CURRAHEE was limited, with the first few put in the hands of those best suited to test the knife, the United States Special Forces. Field use has proven that these knives can endure extremely high intensity, and adverse conditions. Currahee is a Cherokee name, which translates "Stands alone". CURRAHEE is also the name of the last mountain in the Blue Ridge chain of mountains, where the US Army established Camp Toccoa during WWII; here, the first Parachute Infantry was trained. This knife far surpassed all expectations, and therefore, we gave it the name "Currahee".

Since the inception of the HALO II and HALO III (High Altitude Low Open) in 1996, they quickly became a well-known favorite in the knife world. The HALO is the first automatic single action, out-the-front (OTF), knife produced by Microtech. The concept for the Makora evolved from the famous Microtech Ultratech design. It has been field tested and proven over several years. This design incorporates many features, which have been desired and specified by users who prefer this highly effective tool, over any other. The MAKORA's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. With no fatigue on the compressed spring when the knife is not in use, this gives the users the reliability and confidence that when the release is pushed, the knife will operate. Other futures include: quick and efficient one handed open and close action, anti- slip inlays in the top and bottom of the handle, a 154-cm wear resistant double edge blade, an ambidextrous pocket clip, twin pommel strikes, a lanyard attachment, tamper resistant screws, and a machined grip with a large actuating button for easy operation with gloves. The MAKORA is designed exclusively for personal applications by authorized personnel only.

Named after the TROODON (TROH-o-don) Dinosaur, this knife defines the NEW era for Microtech Knives. TROODON is Greek for "wounding tooth". New enhancements include, a new slender handle, contoured shape and radical design elements, as well as a sophisticated internal mechanism, which improves operational functionality and reliability. The TROODON brings together a new out-the-front technology with the feel of a Microtech classic. This project was spear headed personally by Anthony Marfione and consisted of an internal collaboration of the Microtech team. The TROODON is the "flagship" for our entire 2006 out-the-front line.

The Ultratech, will forever set the standard for all out-the-front knives. Ultratech is Microtech's original dual action out-the-front knife, and has been the foundation of our entire OTF line. Over the years, it has gone through several modifications, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. The ULTRATECH's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. This ensures that the compressed spring will not become fatigued, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will operate effectively. Ultratech can take many different forms; it can be topped with a standard machined aluminum top or a piece of carbon fiber. It can also be loaded with a single edge, double edge or tanto edge blade. The ULTRATECH'S light weight, one handed open and close action, slim shape, and scalpel sharp blade make it a one of a kind knife, only available through Microtech. This knife has proven time and again that it can withstand any obstacle. Only time will tell what the next step will be for the ultratech series.
