P90 is the ultimate system for operating in urban and other close-quarter battle scenarios. This system is built around FN’s revolutionary 5.7x28mm ammunition. It utilizes the SS190 armor-piercing duty round, a dual-core projectile that destabilizes on impact to limit over-penetration. The P90 provides a compact, lightweight and completely ambidextrous platform for this ammunition. The compact 50-round box magazine runs horizontally along the top of the P90. Empty cases are ejected downward where they cannot interfere with the operator. The selective-fire P90 fires from a closed bolt, giving it outstanding accuracy and making it easy to keep rounds on target. It is the ideal personal defense weapon for armored vehicle or helicopter crews, executive protection, law enforcement and tactical entry teams.
The Standard P90 and P90 Triple Rail (TR) are also available in a semi-automatic only models. The P90 system is offered in several selective-fire configurations including models with non-magnifying black reticle reflex sights and with either visible and infrared laser target designation systems. Look to the FN P90 system to give you the tactical edge in a tight situation.
