CTS manufactures a complete line of smoke cartridges. All of our cartridge cases are made of aluminum alloy, not plastic. Single projectile cartridges in long and short ranges as well as multiple projectile versions are available in CN tear agent, CS riot control agent, and inert white smoke for screening and training purposes. Multiple projectile models contain three or five projectiles. The single projectile and three projectile models are 4.8" long. The five projectile models are 8" long.

Operation

Wood batons are coated and sealed with lacquer to prevent swelling through moisture absorption. Cartridge models containing five wood or rubber foam batons are 8" long.

Super-Sock is designed to deliver its kinetic energy over a relatively large area and impart a Less-Lethal impact to the target.
The Super-Sock projectile is in its deployed state immediately upon exiting the weapon barrel. It does not require a minimum range to "unfold" or "stabilize". Optimal ranges are between 5 and 15 yards. However, it is stressed that shot placement rather than deployment range is the critical factor in determining the extent of injury caused.
